I shall miss my roommate...

I just got to know that my roommate for next semester is gonna be a Korean girl, once again. Thank God. I'm so lucky. My current roommate, Mira, assured me that she's a nice girl and speaks good English. Wonderful. I can already hear the background music of Jewel In the Palace playing in my head......

Joke! Haha!

Anyway, I'm sure I'll miss Mira. She'll be going home to Seoul in November, while I'm on my sem break. She's always been nice to me since I came here, like an elder sister (I'd have called her onnie if she hadn't tell me not to once she told me her age. She said she didn't like the feeling, as if she's still in Korea where the difference of age and status is an important matter). Although my Korean language doesn't seem to have improved much, my knowledge about the Korean race certainly has. It made me appreciate the fact that I have a super nice roommate more when I heard complaints from my friends about their roommates. Really.

Sem break is finally coming, but I'm feeling kinda moody, mainly because I'm cracking my brain open thinking about where to get the sources for my courseworks during the holidays (God knows our state library only has children books and there's water dripping from the ceiling), and also because I hate the fact that I've met someone whom I could relate to but we don't seem to have had enough time to know each other more. I think we kinda share some similar personalities. She agreed too.

I guess we'll see each other again, since I'm sure I'm going to visit Korea one day. Besides, she's considering UK for further studies too. Heck, who knows? We might even bump into each other in China in December. Coz I'm going to Hong Kong and she's going to Shanghai.

Ok, my eyes are gonna droop now. I know it's time for bed coz I'm starting to produce rubbish here. I'll have more to write for tomorrow, that's for sure. Hehe......U'll see.

P/S: Gosh, I am SO paying for internet next semester, or I'll die and rot here since it's gonna be a long semester with a dreadful connection speed. I can't even upload pictures to my posts! Will upload them when I'm home on Friday.
