Accepting the rejects

Today I planned to go to the state library to get some reference books for my coursework but I ended up standing outside the library chatting with my former classmates who are taking STPM soon while my boyfriend went in to check whether they've got the All England Report there. Why? Coz after being in Inti International University Malaysia for about 2 months, where people don't really take the dress code thing seriously, and also because of the fact that I've NEVER once in my life been to the state library, I wore a short skirt to the library. Which explains why I didn't go in, or should I say, I couldn't go in.

I'd have liked very much to discuss how unfair this system is to people whose religion actually allows them to wear short skirt and relate the issue to the "it would not have happened if it wasn't because of the sexy attire" statement. But I certainly does not want to minum kopi kat ISA. With our rights to freedom of speech being seriously violated these days, who knows? I mean, they are watching the disgustingly horny SMS-es we send our bfs/gfs (in case you don't know, that's the reason we are required to register our prepaid cellphone account. To catch those people who are sending SMS-es that touched sensitive issues. Such as the recent Dato Azhar one). It's no surprise if someone is watching the activities of tiny, unnoticed blogs like this one.

Darn, this is so unfair! How are we bloggers ever gonna get famous without dissing the government?

Anyway, I don't wanna linger too far into this topic. Back to what I was saying, I didn't go into the library. Five minutes later, my bf came out and told me he didn't see the reference books I wanted. So instead of being the good girl and good boy who hang out in the library, we went to Kinta City for a movie. You should be able to guess what we've watched judging by the title of this post.

Yup, that's right. "Accepted".

Looking at the poster alone makes people interested in watching this piece of "SHIT" (not shit. It's SHIT. South Harmon Institute of Technology.)

I won't tell you the detailed story here. I don't do spoilers for movies that are really good, coz good films are worthy to watch for yourself in the cinema. I'll only write synopsis for movies that are bad (such as the one we saw on Monday, "The Covenant". Seriously, they claim the genre as "horror movie" but not only that it's not horrifying at all, it's completely pointless). This movie is about the rejects who didn't get accepted in any college they applied for. When they got turned down, they made one up: South Harmon Institute of Technology (S.H.I.T.), where they really don't give a shit about what other colleges are doing.

The character I like the most in this movie is this dude, Glen. He's doesn't have a single clue about everything happening around him, but at the same time extremely talented in cooking. I get clueless looking at him. LOL!

Glen's favourite freaking- mad-out-of-the-blue line is, "Battle Royale!"

I love the story and S.H.I.T. is definitely a college I'd like to attend.

I think I can conclude that this is the second best comedy of the year, the best being "Click" and the third best being "Rob-B-Hood". Well......"Click" isn't exactly a comedy since I cried like a baby towards the touching ending. I gave credit to it for being really meaningful in teaching people about life. Whereas "Accepted" is a REAL comedy, by means you'd be roaring in laughter from the beginning until the end, but at the same time, you learn something.

So I'm telling you, this is a MUST-WATCH. You won't regret spending 8 bucks for the ticket (remember to bring along your student ID so that you get a special rate).

Ok, ok. Watch these trailers if you're not convinced yet.

Meanwhile, check out the really cool official site of the movie:
