I'm a mad mad girl in a weird weird world...

The world is getting weirder by day. The Altantuya Shaaribuu case is heading nowhere with more and more confusion (I know some inside stories about the case. But sadly, can't share it here. Don't wanna kena ISA). My w550i suddenly became malfunction and I can't hear people talking from the other end. Malaysian film producers came up with another rubbish called "Cicakman", which is supposed to be the Malaysian Spiderman. Bai Ling got casted in the next season of "Lost". Britney Spears is getting divorced with her idiot of a husband, Kevin Federline (better known as K-Fed nowadays. Thanks to Perez Hilton the man)......Wait a minute. Britney getting divorce does not count. Coz that's not weird. That's expected.

Which is why the rest of this post will be a mixed analysis of every weird case above (except the high profile murder case I mentioned).

1. My cellphone.
What has happened to my cellphone? I totally can't hear a thing when someone calls me! It's not like I dropped it or anything. This is weird. Don't tell me after I dropped it accidentally a month ago, it only started going haywire now.
Gawd, do you think I still get warranty for this? I actually like the phone very much, you know. The audio quality is execllent. Sigh.

2. Cicakman.

Whoa. This is so creative! Oh, oh I got another idea. Why not SAMPAH-MAN instead?
It's pathetic. There's no other description. It's just plain PATHETIC. Will they ever get tired of "copied-in-malaysia" movies (notice, it's "copied", not "made")?
I just wanna ask why. Why do you have to make CGI movies when both you and us know you suck at it? What for you produce something which you obviously realize you don't have the skills to produce? You know it's gonna make ppl laugh their asses off. Cicak man VS Spiderman. One pinky of Spiderman can crush one million Cicakmen and reduce them to Cicak powder I tell you. Don't they know how to use their brains? I'm not saying you cannot copy. But copy ppl's STRATEGY, not story. Look at Thailand, they've got good boxers and ah guar (transsexuals), so they produce action movies and ah guar comedies. Look at Korea, you ever see them do CGI arr? Koreans are good in tear-jerking romance movie with a classy air. That's why they went for it.
Look into your strengths. What's special about our country?
The multi-racial society! That's the uniqueness of our country...... Sadly, that is also one topic which is taboo to local filmmakers (think "Sepet"). The only successful film we've ever made is "Puteri Gunung Ledang". But to hell with it, that version is not even Malacca's version of the story ok? It's the Indonesian version. Besides, that film is commercialized. It has lost its artistic and historical value because it's only packaged to entertain the angmos (westerners), just like all the costume Chinese films like "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon".
Once in a blue moon when the Malaysian film producers do come out with good films (like "Sepet" and the one about Communists), they get banned half the time. Only rubbish like Cicakman, Diva Popular and even Remp-It, which actually sets a very negative example to teenagers, encouraging them to "remp-it" more often, can survive the scanning.
How the hell is our film industry gonna improve this way?

3. Bai Ling? Has the director finally "LOST" his mind on the island?
Gawd, is this legal? Is Bai Ling even an actress in the first place? She certainly doesn't dress like one.

Why in the world do they wanna hire her? Maybe they are trying to make Evangeline Lily look more beautiful than she already is in comparison. Come on, if u wanna get an Asian, please be respectful to all Asians and get a decent one. Kim Yoo Jin was good in the earlier seasons. Why Bai Ling the hooker? Well, maybe she is playing a hooker.
Whatever. Bai Ling is totally embarrassing us as Asians. So does Zhang ZiYi with all her brainless, hypocritical and superficial statements.

4. Britney & Kevin: Chaotic...is an understatement.
I'm not analysing this. Everyone knows the reason they are getting divorce. It's because the horny pimp and the dumb blonde are not meant for each other.

THE MOVIE that sinks Britney Spears' career may not be "Crossroads."

According to Britain's News of the World, Spears' layabout husband Kevin Federline, has four hours of XXX sex footage of him and his estranged wife. With the tape as leverage in a divorce settlement, it could be an expensive day at the orifice for the former pop tart. K-Fed has reportedly been offered nearly $50 million for the tape. (The price, however, could double if Britney's wearing nothing but her mouseketeer ears.) At the moment Kev is in talks with a company in Arizona about putting the four-hour sex vid online." Hmmm... celebrity sex tape broker David Hans Schmidt is based in Phoenix... According to News of the World's version of the pre-nup, K-Fed was worth around $30,000 when the couple wed. Britney was worth approximately 2,000 times that. He was raking in about $75,000 a year at the time (mostly working for her), while she was bread-winning a little less than $20 million. More News of the World raunch: A Las Vegas hooker claimed that during the time Britney was pregnant, she and K-Fed "went to two casin0s then back to his hotel suite... . There were lots of drugs - cocaine, weed and ecstasy. We shared an E in his limo on the way then passed out on his bed." A pricey stripper said she also spent quality time with the classy Mr. Federline. "Kevin said we could be together if he wasn't married," she said. Ouch, that hurts both Britney's heart and her pocket. Divorce can be an expensive matter you know. I don't pity her though. It's completely her fault that she's both blind and deaf. The guy has been dumping girlfriends with kids before her and ppl have been trying to talk her out of the marriage. I mean, even Justin Timberlake tried to talk to her about it (he could've ignored it and let her dig her grave, but he adviced her anyway). She just can't see and can't hear. And she has the guts to ignore prenup agreement "to show her unconditioned love and trust" to Kevin. She's such a disgrace to the female population's intelligence.

We can surely count the days to the end of the world with all these weird stuff happening.
